Yes, frankly every 'spontaneous/jokey' event on Top Gear is clearly staged. Dunno whether it's because I'm turning into an old git, but I just don't find the programme funny any more. It's trying too hard to be laddish...
So I assume you don't waste your time watching the program? At your age every moment must be too precious to waste....
I thought it was hilarious, clearly scripted but it would have to be for *obvious* safety reasons. The fact that the camera was set up to film Richard turning around in the little village at the roundabout is a bit of a clue....
