Yes, it was all a bit odd....the airship/caravan combo clearly departed from Cardington, James said he was going to Devon, then Kent, somehow arrived at NWI, and the site of his 'landing' was in fact not far from me in Cambridgeshire. The Norwich thing either must have been prearranged, or there were some mightily odd breezes blowing that day.
They did the same with the Germans when they pretended to arrive in Spitfires at the venue - that whole section was shot at Duxford, including the Astons.
