Balpa, please look at this paying fo TR's situation. No other profession has this. But maybe it's the pilot community fault, ie I believe a trainee lawyer starts on a low salary whils he's doing his "articles" (apprenticeship) and accept this. After this they get onto the good money. So if wannabe pilots started accepting the less "glamourous" jobs after gaining their atpls, instead of trying to out jump everyone else (using financial clout) onto the big shiney jets, this paying for TR's fiasco would stop.
