Based on a figure I saw elsewhere that Cessna 150's require an overhaul every 1,800 hours..
Other than the 'safety first' aspect, why is that the engines require such extensive work in such a short time? cf a car engine, which if serviced correctly will last 250k+ without issue.. Especially as I percieve aircraft engines to be less complicated than car engines, and rev a lot lower
