Brought up in posh St Annes I remember Capt Lewry's Fox Moth making occasional visits to Squires Gate.
Years later, around 1993, I remember a trip to Southport Beach one sunny summers day. Driving along the sands we came upon the runway and pleasure flying ops. My recollection is of two PA 28 Cherokees doin' the biz.
Was that a BPL or LPL venture.
