J41 entered service in 1993, 'cos the airline wot I (and others that peruse this topic) was working for back then were one of the launch customers.
Interesting to see the comments on despatch reliability, we worked really hard to get the DR up into the 96%+ bracket over the ten (+) years I was associated with the aeroplane.
I always said it's no worse than any other aeroplane I've been associated with..fact is, all things mechanical break down occasionally, if they didn't I'd be out of a job.
