Have you ever thought that CX may not want to give you an answer because they would like their 'poolies' to start (at some time) plus they don't want to close the door on them as considerable time and money has already been spent.
Considering that there is a large intake of cadets going on at the moment you cant really argue that they are in crisis now can we?
Hmmm... clearly your not aware... cadets take presedence over DEFO's and DESO's for the reason you mentioned earlier plus it is a moral obilgation between CX and HKG government. Similar to SQ, EK.. the list goes on.
