6chimes, I totally agree with you. The "gentleman" you refer to always said he would put his staff first whan any decision was made about his companies future. We all know & understand the decision had to be made but a thank you letter, e-mail or something in the staff news letter would have been the decent thing to do, lets face it we all worked as a team to keep his company going.
Even better would be a little bit of his golden hand-shake divided amongst the staff left behind
