The contract engineers are for the leased 757.
As far as I know the engineers have had a pretty tough time of it over the past few years, with cuts at every level.
There certainly hasn't been any extra loot floating about at grass roots level.
If anything it's the other way round, we can't understand how we are in such dire straits when we see so little of the money and seem to work the longest hours. Well we do know why we are in a mess and it certainly isn't anything to do with the staff being paid to much. It certainly isn't anything to do with the staff at all. It might be nearer the truth to look at a certain 'Sir' who ran off with his pockets stuffed with cash and without so much as saying goodbye.
Now, it's the staff that are going to pay for it with their jobs.
