HKE Fail to Operate China Airlines Wetlease Freighter
HKE went through the process of having a B747 freighter wt lease approved. They were going to use a China Airlines 747, but typically, they never got it running. I remember seeing that a member of the HKE board blocked their application for route rights every time they attempted to get route rights.

I recall there was an article in the SCMP about it, does anybody have copy?
Shawn.... it was the part share holder Andrew Tse who blocked it, because the singas and Hainan were not providing the promised information or business plan to him. I believe the application has since been submitted again, but no information is available. The same SCMP article went on to quote Andrew Tse, and how he was not satisfied with Hainans decisions, but basically the majority share holder does whatever they want and he could not do anything about it. It was a good article and proved even a major shareholder in the company is not satisfied in the direction the company is going.
