I have no grudge against the GCCA, although they are an organisation in complete disarray.
I trained El Stupido and got him through his validation when the training office wanted to chop him. He, with his wife (a really lovely lady) and I used to meet downtown to socialise and plan his future but like a true Dubai/Irani snake, he changed allegiances as soon as the opportunity arose.

Your DANS is totally out of his depth and only signs off what Stromboli instructs him to do. He is Stromboli's instrument/catamite.
When you invite expats to come to your country to take up job opportunities you expect them to bring their wives and children wth them and would, hopefully, expect them to be interested in the UAE culture. Your scribbles do not do much that enhance such culture (!), rather they show a complete lack of manners. To fire people without due process and any prior warning shows a complete lack of management skills by the 'Gruesome Twosome'. The GCAA has a duty of care to its employees which it does not fulfill.
An expat comes to the UAE with family, places kids in school and expects to be treated with a certain consideration, not "YOU CAME HERE FOR THE MONEY SO DO YOUR JOB OR LEAVE”.
While such an attitude and behaviour continues you will always be a third world country and so shall you remain.
In passing remind your DANS that he used to refer to me (as Sheikh Zayed used to refer to Wilfred Thesiger) as UMBARAK except that unlike Sheikh Zayed, Pinocchio is a liar and a miscreant.
Also, remind Stromboli that due to his lack of strategic planning and foresight he enabled me to achieve millionaire status. Wonderful chap, by default only.
