Good thing I have a steady tprop job in Europe. I was very close to quitting just a few months before a (proposed, as told during interview) start date. I wanted to take a nice 2 month holiday before going off to Australia for initial training. Luckily I didn't jump the gun but I didn't expect this from an airline like Cathay.
