I'm surprised the Archerfield master plan has any runways at all, having always heard (and thought) that they intended to sell the whole thing off for industrial land as soon as they possibly could.
Would finally deliver some tough X-Wind experience to the YBAF students.
It's certainly easy to avoid if the weather's fine, but if there's more than a drop of rain anywhere in Brisbane you can have plenty of X wind practice, because the grassed areas and strips turn into a marine park (unless they've fixed them in recent years).
