I am a UK citizen currently looking into training for a PPL in Canada, specifically in the Montreal area.
I am have been looking at various flight schools and Saint Hubert Flying School which seems appealing thus far has what seem like excessive enrollment fees of $1000 CAD. (Specified
here) This doesn't seem to cover much apart from registration and a letter to the immigration authorities. They say they will meet you when you arrive and help you open bank accounts etc but this seems awfully steep for something I could feasibly undertake myself.
If anybody has any opinion on this or any light they could shed I would be very grateful. Any opinions on the school itself are of course welcome!
