So what if your rosey picture of PILOTS PILOTS PILOTS is no longer being painted? Yes, it's different. But, guess what? Different doesn't mean worse. I know you're getting on a bit and that concept might be a bit hard to understand, but it really doesn't take much to grasp the logic behind it.
And why is it better for people to do 'charitable work in Peru' at the Army's expense rather than the RAF's? Because I assure you they do them as well. Do a different set of taxpayers contribute to the Army's budget?
