Maunder Minimum

For Radeng and others who might believe that low sunspot activity means global cooling and that we have had low sunspot activity and cooling in the last decade, note:

1 1998 was an exceptionally hot year globally because of a strong El Nino event, and therefore is an unreliable baseline for comparison with subsequent years.

2 It's true we had no sunspots during the last 11 years.

3 But, sunspots are back, within the last few days.

Lots of references can be found on Google for all these, don't take my word for it.
