I am OK with the basic concept of getting the lowest possible thrust setting while still being able to comply with the requirements.
What I am more interested in is which of these requirements is likely to be the most limiting ? Would it be the n-1 climb gradient if the runway is long enough ? Can it be the 1.9%, 1-engine-inop requirement (or is it 1.6%, I get confused...) ?
In LFPG, the AMSR is 2000ft in a rather wide radius around the airport (apart from the city of Paris obviously), so I assumed we were in the middle of a rather flat area; I am ready to accept that there can be flatter areas
