Monarch A330 due 1210 31st Oct from Palma-- out 1310 empty to Orlando (sfb)
I was at Luton two weeks ago picking up friends on a Saturday, and noticed a Monarch A300 arriving in from Palma and assume the A330 is substituting this route.

Even without passengers onboard, but fully loaded with fuel will be cool seeing that clear LTN runway!

Am I right in thinking Monarch use to operate the A330 on a weekly charter to SFB for Airtours from LTN around 2000 to 2003. Did this flight operate with a restricted load, as I am sure it did the route non-stop?

------------------------------------------

On a seperate note, but while on the subject of transatlantic flights... There were rumours a while back that tour operator Canadian Affair were going to start weekly services to Toronto from the airport in Summer 2010. They use a mix of Air Transat A310's and Thomas Cook 757's to operate the routes from other UK regional airports...

Anyone heard or know anything?
