The fact that Ryanair has lost money in each of the 5 years at Shannon tells its own story. Even with massive discounts it can't break even. The scale of the operation there was way too ambitious.
I'm delighted they lost money. O'Leary tried to beat Cork Airport with the stick of drawing capacity away and he ended up beating himself. Couldn't happened to a nicer guy
