Angel Black Magic and the truth behind Evian Water

There was this interesting thread about Black Magic in QR that did not last very long... It disappeared overnight like most of these threads that try to shed some light on what is really going on in QR.

I would like, if I may, to say a few words about Black Magic and how it operates. Here is an example:

I sincerely doubt that this captain which worked for QR for 13 years was only terminated for ordering Evian water. I guess that the Evian water situation was the last drop that made the glass overflow, if you forgive my pun

However, everyone has been led to believe that management would terminate anyone just because they demanded something so insignificant. Evian water has become a Symbol. A Symbol for how fragile the pilots' position is in this company and a reminder that we are not supposed to ask for anything more. If you cannot ask for a simple bottle of water, how are you going to ask for better working conditions, better salary, right?

Now, the more one repeats Evian water, the more one reinforces the message: "You are no one in this place, you are not going to get anything more, your position is fragile"

And this is how Black, White, Green or any other type of magic operates. People get impressed by Symbols. And the more you repeat the words, the more power you give to the Ideas that are behind the words.

Drinking Rayyan with a smile on my face is the best way to show to the people that are watching me (because we ARE being watched, reported and spied) that I don't care about their scare tactics. Also, it reminds me that "That Old Black Magic" cannot affect me.

Don't fall for their dirty tricks. In this, I agree with what Dan said a few posts back: if you spell Evian backwards, you get the moral of this story.

Cheers, and blue side up!
