With regard to the bonding for the 777 rating; where do the pilots stand should they wish not to take up the next class or retire early? After all it has been almost three years since the last class/sim ride.

Would you be surprised if rba management required you to sign another bond before completing the refresher course and being checked to line on the 777.
The first 777 course candidates are approaching 3 years now. They could fly the 777 for just a few months and leave. Thats assuming there are jobs to go to mid next year.
Whenever there's a new CEO (and the average life of an RBA CEO is measured in months rather than years) there's a planned equipment change.
I wonder why that is?
Something rba is good at, but Indonesia is best at.
