you need to make a differentiation between 'pulling out' and closing a base. DTM closed as a base yet still operates Easyjet routes. Easyjet will absolutely not stop operating from BFS but it's future as a base for aircraft and crews is less certain. I wouldn't think anything would happen in the very short term but their eye is very much on redeployment of assets to Europe where the believe the yield is better.
