See the court transcripts if you are still wondering. There is a sickness management program and they will sack you. From the transcripts it appears flags are raised if you only go sick for one day, so I suggest taking "more" than one day.
That said if one of our crew is sick; I'm not impressed and let them know that.
Don't be scared but don't abused it. That's the bottom line.
