As an A330 pilot not working for an Australian carrier, I can quite categorically say it is a beat up as is all things aviation on the media, particularly in Australia. I have no hesitation in flying an A330 or A340 for that matter. My wife even flew in one of QF’s finest from Perth to Sydney earlier this weak.
