Belfast City Flights
Looks like it is a double edged sword!
As well as the flights being switched to Belfast City, the route is only going to be operated twice daily compared to the current timetable to Belfast Int that is still bookable as four flights a day in each direction.
Belfast Int is also owned by Abertis so it hurts the company at both ends of the route!
I have flown Belfast City is a great little airport and very convenient for the city centre... But if travelling elsewhere in the province, this isn't necessarily all that convenient and these flights operate during peak periods and traffic around the Belfast City Airport at these times and to get on the motorway is not good, with regular long queues.
