REQUIREMENT FOR - 2 MAN TURBO-PROP CAPTAINS TO FLY DASH 8-Q400

Outline Pilot Brief Sheet For Parc / A -net Dash 8 Q400 Contract
I am now pleased to forward you further details on the Parc / Air Nippon Network Dash 8 -Q400 contract. I would ask you to please read this carefully as it will provide an explanation on some items in the Terms and Conditions (see attachments below) and also information on the selection, screening and training process.
Airline Background :
This assignment is on behalf of our client Air Nippon Network (A-net), a subsidiary airline of Air Nippon (ANK) and part of the All Nippon Airways group. ANK currently operates a fleet of 44 aircraft , serving approx 42 domestic airports in Japan including Sapporo, Fukuoka and Okinawa as well as an international service to Taipei. Air Nippon have the most services in and out of Japanese airports.
A-net was established in May 2001. The Dash 8 Q400 aircraft was introduced that year to operate Air Nippon's local feeder routes from Tokyo and Sapporo. It started operations on 1st July 2002 using three DHC Dash 8 aircraft. In December 2003 four more Dash 8 Q400 joined to replace Boeing 737 aircraft operated from Osaka by Air Nippon. One of the main reasons for the introduction of the Dash 8 was to capitalise on restrictions imposed on jets (landing slots, curfews, noise etc) which were exempt from the Turboprop. The Dash 8 Q400 has proved to be very successful, popular both with the travelling public and with crews.
A-net operate domestic routes only. The Q400 series initially operated 15 round trips a day from Itami (Osaka) to Kochi. It has since expanded, operating between Osaka and Hakodate, Kushiro, Mombetsu, Nakashibetsu, Osaka, Rishiri, Sapporo, and Wakkanai. There are now 14 aircraft in the fleet.

Selection and Training :
As is a requirement by the Japanese Civil Aviation Bureau (JCAB) all successful candidates will be required to complete a Japanese ATPL. This Training period will be 6 months minimum and is taking place in Tokyo. It is broken down as follows :
approx. 1 month in Ground School, CRM & Radiotelephony,
approx 2 - 2.5 months in Simulator training and further Ground School, then

During the training period 80% of salary is paid, accommodation is provided and a daily allowance of USD 45 will be paid during training ( from initial classroom training through to final line check ) A-Net will provide a minimum of one ticket for your immediate family members to visit you during the training period.
During the Operations Period each pilot will be granted 120 days off annually of which a minimum of eighty four (84) days will be scheduled in periods of fourteen (14) days consecutive free of duty or twelve (12) days consecutive free of duty.
Sample outline would be :
A : 6 blocks of days off per year, broken down into 4 x 20 days and 2 x 14 days including Annual Leave
B : 9 blocks of days off per year, to give 9 x 12 day blocks including Annual Leave
The operating base will be Itami Airport in Osaka . Once operational you will be provided with an accommodation / living allowance of USD 2,000 per month.
