The club is missing a trick in that case.
By "Social Member" I meant anyone that wishes to be welcome to the club events but is not (for whatever the reason) a flyer.
I don't think anyone attending for a cuppa or a lunch would object to being asked to pay a "day membership" of say £2 in order to use the cafe or facilities. At the end of the year the extra income could easily pay for a christmas dinner for all the paid up members.
I truly hope that the Flying School does go on to prosper under the new management. The staff are always really friendly & deserve some stability.
