Ingesting my own exhaust, perhaps ?
More than likely... Had a similar alarm sound in mine recently as I slipped off the altitude whilst tearing down final approach at 140kt with a 737 up my arse. PPM reading was small, so small in fact that a chemical detector would not have even registered it.
