Traveling from UK easiest is via the Chunnel to Liège (Luik) then to Maastricht. You can catch a bus from just outside the station which will stop at the Airport across the road from the hotel.
BTW HN09, mentioning at interview that you are applying for Euro because NATS didn't want you would not be a good career move!! Unbelievably though a number of people have done this.
