Just a quick 'thanks' for the efforts you are all making whilst the airport falls apart!
No ILS on 23R...23R slippery when wet.....taxiways falling apart.....
I don't know how other crew feel but this week has been pushing the limits a little much.
It may help everybody if approach were to ask (assuming it's a VOR/DME in less than ideal weather) what speed we are going to fly on final. We fly all Non Precision approaches fully configured and Vapp before final descent. If 160 to 4NM is required that burns a lots of fuel and makes a lot of noise. And finally if there's less than 10kts tailwind can we please use ILS 05L?!!!
