Sushi Muncher, I don't think you are aware of the situation at United Airlines.
We are going the same place as Pan Am. Furloughs, fleet reduction, and many routes now flown by regional jets.
The company is on a constant slide downhill. May be I should look at India, or Japan. Most of my time is on Airbus, and B737.
As to Viva, I have friends who were former Viva pilots from two years ago, and they spoke quite fondly of the company, except they flew way too many hours. I guess there were not enough pilots.
I hear they hire mostly Canadians, and Australians, with a sprinkling of Europeans. Is that true? Do I need to convert my ATP to Chinese equivalent?
Do they hire women?
