A good start would be similar to that I have experienced on Eurostar to Paris today. Nice facilities whilst waiting. Smooth, polite transition through security and passport control. Very pleasant host and hostess providing an escort down to the platform. A smiling on-board attendant (not requiring a boarding card check
) seamlessly greeting in French and English. Comfortable seats, nice food and wine and everyone appearing most contented.
Service on-time. Public transport at it's best.
