in any real flying scenario there is too much radio activity.
I don't know what you define as a
real flying scenario, but I managed to spend most of the day yesterday flying with the radio switched off!!! It was rather pleasant to have some music playing low in the back ground, just enhanced what was a perfect day bouncing from private strip to private strip in the Auster.
I would not disagree with your comment on the Bose headset, I spend 8hrs a day with them on my head when at work. But I do have to say the lightspeeds have impressed me so far.
