But I wouldn't necessarily rule out Florida. Remember, there are good schools out there owned and managed from this side of the pond, catering for flight here. What counts is the quality of the instruction and I found that very difficult to gauge compared to what I was looking at on the net.
You kinda need to be cautious with pprune too!
As I said in the link visit the schools and speak to the students. You'll hear people slag off the schools with (yes, arguably!) the best reputation. Then visit them, speak to their students - THAT is how you'll know. If you make a choice from the web and speaking to the marketing department of the school, then you're not really taking a litmus test of that school.
