Seriously Asiagirl, if you are really thinking about taking a leave of absence from United to fly for Viva Macau, given the current global economic situation and the tenuous position of Viva Macau, you would be running a real risk of finding yourself unemployed unless you had a couple of other options up your sleeve as a back up plan.
At least at the moment you have stable employment at United. Something to consider in the big picture.
