Well, it could be MC or.....
- A Middle Eastern multi billionaire, about to take Coventry City to the top of the Premier League, seeking to get free landings for his BBJ
- BAA, looking to replace Gatwick in their portfolio, being the only company with the influence in Whitehall to get planning permission for a terminal at CVT, albeit after a 10 year Public Enquiry
- MOL looking to prove to airports across Europe that airports can be run with very little income
- Stobarts as they seem to buy airports with no apparent future
- Infratil - well they bought Manston, didn't they?
It probably isn't
- Peel because there aren't enough services to lose or enough land to build on
- Manchester A G because they like to extend runways and there is no way the hypocritical ancient Britons at Warwick DC would give planning permission
- Birmingham Airport because they would take another 5 years to make the decision
Good for CVT would be a company which could bring some aviation business with them such as
- An aviation engineering company with a hundred year history of making good decisions
- A Bizjet company whose current base in the UK has significant restrictions
- A foreign aircraft manufacturer wanting a finishing and repair centre
