I have an Epson "Perfection 2400 Photo" scanner. It will scan photos, books, etc. It will also scan positive and negative 2x2 in slides and 35 mm film strips. I use it at 2400 pixels per inch for slides, which is adequate for my snapshot tastes. I can do about 20 or 24 slides an hour at that resolution. Here is an example:

On the other hand, I have a few ancient 4x5 and 5x7 glass plate negatives. This Epson can't do them. Does anyone have a suggestion?
