SkyAngel 0.9.4 Released!

There's a new version of SkyAngel just been released with lots of exciting new features. Here's the breakdown:

SkyAngel InFlight
---
You can now control which instruments are displayed (making it possible to fill the whole screen with the map, 93%)
"Heading up" mode supported when the chart is following the current position
Native GPS driver included for WinCE and other platforms lacking the Microsoft GPS driver
Mapping options, rendering options and screen orientation options are now exposed
Dragging the map around is now much faster
If the battery dies halfway through a flight, the log so far should still be available
The solid yellow circle representing current position has been replaced with an outlined diamond
Zooming increments have been improved

SkyAngel Plan
---
Weight and balance variables are now saved alongside a route
Some aircraft properties (landing fuel, max fuel, cog envelope) were not persisted between application sessions
It was not possible to access the context menu for an airfield when a route was plotted via it because the turning point indicator hid the waypoint itself
Runway visual range is now parsed in METAR data
The Weather phenomena column was not visible in the METAR/TAF windows
Dragging a route segment in enroute features to change its altitude now has increments of 100ft
NSC, SKC and CAVOK are interpreted and displayed on TAF reports
The CoG envelope graph was always shown with weight in kg regardless of the units selected

It would be great if people could try the new native GPS driver in the InFlight software, particularly people running WinCE devices, although the driver should work with any GPS that can be accessed via COM port. Go to Tools -> Options -> GPS to change which driver is used.

Please let me know what you think of the new charting in InFlight: it's been brought up to almost the quality of the desktop software mapping (assuming compatible device).

jxk, I'm not sure what to tell you. All you have to do is click on sequential waypoints to create a route. A waypoint is a town, airfield, radio air or reporting point. you should see these things light up as the mouse cursor goes over them.
Robin Driver, SkyAngel doesn't have aerodrome NOTAMs, only enroute NOTAMs (for the moment).
