Very bad news for Luton indeed. When you factor in easy's proposed reductions, Sky Europes's bankruptcy, the loss of Windjet and now Transavia, you are looking at a pax reduction of of about 1.3/1.4m pa, a massive hit. You only want Wizzair to up sticks now, and, well , say no more.
Abertis, the masters in Madrid, don't seem to want to know, and can't wait until they can exercise their "get out" clause in two or three years time. As for LBC, don't get me started.
A very sad state of affairs, which could have so easily been avoided. One positive thing to come out of this though, early moning traffic congestion will be a thing of the past.
