Maybe this belongs in "Friday Night Jokes", but there is the Bulgarian joke about a lad who applies to become a police officer and, in the course of the hiring interview, asks about the salary.
"What do you mean?" asks the interviewer, "We give you a gun and a uniform: Help yourself!"
