Basically they are looking for a way to save MILLIONS of dollars in short cutting training onto the B777.
But wait they are looking for VOLUNTEERS....what the F

No preparation is required, in fact we would like to discourage participants from prior preparation to ensure we uncover and gaps in the training programme. We simply need a snapshot of B744 pilot skills and an idea of the problems they might face in transition to the B777. (We don't think there will be any, but we need you to prove that conclusively!)"
Is this an airline or a flying school.
But I can assure you there will be many guys putting their hands up to go to work on their 'G' day, do a B777 sim session, then do a long haul straight after the sim session, well that perfectly legal right???!!!
We all used to do that in GA right, sweep the hangar floor for free. What a joke
