Has anyone else heard the rumour that Transavia may be off to Gatwick?
Not heard anything, but with all the current bad news, would not surprise me!
Just to add insult to injury, I read that Heathrow, experienced its busiest month ever in August. Far cry from Luton, but I suppose they don't have a short sighted owner or airport operator, sucking every penny out of the airport and investing zero! (Can't believe I am being pro BAA!)
I think it is going to be a gradual downhill roll for the airport now until 2012, if/when a new contract is agreed with the existing or a new airport operator. It will not be until then the airport is given a shot in the arm.
Unless they are trying to model the airport on Manston or Southend!
I might as well forget about being user of Luton, and look to my other local(ish) airport like EMA and BHX that will appreciate my business more!
Also atleast some sort of charter program exists from these airports too...
