It was £1.43 per departing and arriving passenger that LBC received under the terms of the agreement with AGI (which became TBI, which became Abertis).
Some of that was ploughed back into the airport infrastructure.
Assuming there is a facility to increase that payment over time to take into consideration inflation, £4 per return flight does not seem an unreasonable figure now.
