those of the freighty persuasion might get a lotta work hauling UN food aid - that's if they leave a mile of flat tarmac anywhere on the subcontinent intact....seriously, after it goes that far, the consequences get impossible to predict - what would happen in China etc.

On the theme, if the advertised war don't turn up and looking at the current economic numbers, we should be seeing a good recovery at the end of the year. Now if that keeps going we might have the situation of an expansion in the industry coinciding with excess retirements.....mmmmm, money - nice! Or have I just convinced myself of that 'cos it fits my career plan? Hmmm. But most forward looking indicators (i.e. stats that predict rather than lag) look good. (especially the US and British purchasing managers' surveys) But if those poor misguided fools nuke each other...looks like a career in Vodafone sales! (Oh yes, and world crisis and forty million dead.)
