Recent evidence about the anal individuals manning - oh alright then - personning - the security screening leads me to believe that it is all a bunch of twaddle.
Little old lady being screened for explosives whilst huge swarthy middle eastern men are waved passed. Happened in Brisbane international a week ago.
Lady explaining to her 4 year old son that the security was for drugs and banned items, made the mistake of mentioning BOMB, was marched off for interview in Sydney international about two months ago.
