You describe yourself as a wet behind the ears SO. Your post certainly does justice to your description!
Pass the course first. It is not a walk in the park. There will be more work to do and systems, procedures and general "Cathay Way" to learn before you will be deemed suitable for release to the line.
Do yourself a favour and leave the surf board at home till you are fully checked out.
Many of us are getting sick and tired of the new generation that has no Officer Qualities and believes the world owes them a living.
You sound like a prime candidate for the 777, you'll be eaten for breakfast on the 744 and Airbus!
