So far this year I have been in an out of Townsville (obviously), Cairns, Mackay, Rockhampton, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Canberra and Darwin - and found all of the controllers very good to get along with. In the last couple of years I have also done Coffs and Essendon. The guys at Essendon were particularly helpful - vectored me onto final appr.
IMHO, the trickiest places to get in and out of are GAAP aerodromes, or whatever they are called these days.
