Yes this incident DID happen, I have spoken with the driver of the bus in question and one of the famed cabin crew. No heroics involved - just instinct!
As for Cabin Crew having been raped at the Hotel - I cannot say, no disrespect intended to the alleged victim but I think this is a Myth and also the supposed dead body on the balcony of a Cabin Crew's room in block 9.
Yes the hotel is in a bad location and Yes CX pays peanuts for it, are they going to move from there? Hotel staff over breakfast one morning boasted that at the price CX pays them CX wont be going any where soon..........
Due vigilance at all ports the company says, Yes I agree to a point - however things need sharpening up at our JNB Crew hotel - But then again Sten has this under his control and he is rumored to be knighted as our new GMA and as such his sights are set elsewhere than a second rate JNB hotel so so far away from the Peak.
