I just came across this photograph and was astonished to see that it looks as if a line has been secured from the Police R44, to the steel handrail of the stricken vessel!
Why would you secure a line from the R44 to the steel handrail of a stricken vessel which may move without warning?
It looks like an invitation to dynamic rollover!
Single engine, no floats, over water, line attached!
