Take one legitimate meter (Revs per minute) divided by 100 then match it up so some antiquated standard (like inches of friggin' mercury) then try to make a rule-of-thumb like keep one bigger than the other. OK for Johnny McStudent on his first three CSU flights but poppycock for this discussion.
